I am a British-Nigerian Chartered Engineer (CEng), European Engineer (EurIng), Technology Strategist, and Information Security Specialist with over two decades of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity engineering, digital innovation, and digital forensics.

I hold a Doctorate in Information Security from the University of East London, an MSc in Information Technology (Security) from the University of Liverpool, and a BSc in Business Computing from the University of Teesside, United Kingdom.

In 2005, I developed SMSVerified, one of the earliest practical One-Time Password (OTP) systems designed for card-not-present payments and remote authentication, years before Android and iPhone mobile apps existed. By applying algebraic geometry to secure online transactions, I created a ground-breaking authentication method at a time when Visa and Mastercard still relied on static passwords. That work contributed to the evolution of modern digital authentication systems used globally today.

I am the Founder of Paymenex xTransNET, an alternative payments network designed to empower developing economies through secure and inclusive digital financial services. My work bridges technology and human impact, enabling cross-border transactions, strengthening trust in digital payments, and advancing financial inclusion where traditional systems fall short.

With over 25 years of global experience, I have designed and implemented enterprise-level technology and cybersecurity solutions across banking, communications, education, manufacturing, and government sectors. I am a strong advocate for safer digital banking and continue to champion the elimination of card PIN usage online in favour of more advanced, adaptive authentication technologies.

I am a member of respected international professional bodies including the British Computer Society (FBCS, CITP), Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS), IEEE, ACM, CNP, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
